Hallo, Mark Rabideau,

I have visited Many Roads over the years and, I see you have implemented similar technologies that I have used for my site named the ‘Tibesar Family Archives’.
Our site is private but, I invite you to register at tibesar.com. I will approve a temporary subscriber membership.
I have used Djvu in the past but abandoned it since NO ONE would install the client into their browsers on their computers. I then decided pdf was the only viable alternative since most family members already have acrobat reader on their computers. (Believe me I know Djvu is a superior technology than pdf – just so tough to get visitors to install Djvu…)
I too use GRAMPS for displaying the family tree on the site.
I also use WordPress but adopted the Genesis framework.
Even though we use similar technologies, our sites are really very different it seems. In an attempt to get other family members to participate, I changed the site from a Genealogy-only theme to include current events and lots of photos. Even that hasn’t evoked excitement amongst our family members.
I am worried that once I pass away the Archives will not be sustained by the Tibesar family. Getting other family members interested and willing to write Posts (stories) for our Archives is such a HUGE challenge. I would like to know if this is a concern of yours as well. Also if you have time I would appreciate any criticisms you may have towards our Archives (that is if you have time).
Thank you and keep charging forward Mark…

Hi Marcus, I would be honored to check it out. And yes, I have similar concerns to yours. You may send me a username/ password combo at ManyRoads. Genealogy -at- Many-roads period com.

Hello Mark, I have not been able to send you an e-mail using the e-mail address provided above nor to any ‘iterations’ of that e-mail address. Is there a different address I could use to send you your login credentials? Sorry for the hassle!

Hi Marcus… the email made it hours ago. I have not yet had a chance to log in but the user/pwd arrived. I’ll let you know if I have trouble getting in. Thanks!
