These photos are of Catharina’s trunk. She and all her belongings traveled to the US via ship through Baltimore. All her earthly possessions were contained in this trunk. Today, we store our genealogy papers there. It seems like the documents of our family journey belong safely ensconced in this hand made trunk.
After all, we are all on the same journey.
