Hello,
I’ve been trying to trace the parents of John Allert who emigrated from Cheshire, England to Australia. My mother says there was German heritage. The family I am now keen to research were from Pietzkendorf (around 1791 to 1820) so I have read the above information with great interest. Thank you for your research.
